UPCOMING musician Star Nyowani has added his voice to raising awareness against cancer during this Cancer Month.
Nyowani has penned a song titled ‘Toita Sei,’ in which he is urging both the young and the old to get screened and seek early treatment.
He hopes the song will propel his career to another level.
Nyowani lost his mother to cancer.
“I am hoping that this track will reach all the four corners of Zimbabwe so that it will help educate our people about the dangers of cancer.
“Toita Sei is one of my best songs because it is a dedication to my mom who passed on due to cancer,” said Nyowani.
He added;
“I am into traditional music but this track is more of a gospel song as I am sharing the message and also quoting the scriptures.
“My message is simple, I am inviting everyone, including those who are being affected by cancer, not to lose hope, God will heal you.”
The singer has encouraged all women to visit the nearest screening centres for regular check-ups.
October was designated as Brest Cancer Awareness Month as a global effort to raise awareness.
