PRETORIA University first choice goalkeeper Washington Arubi says he is ready for the big clash against Absa Premier League champions Kaizer Chiefs next Tuesday evening at Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga. The Warriors goalie described the game as one of the toughest of his career. Arubi told Chronicle Sport: “Playing Chiefs at this juncture is a nightmare as we all know that they are chasing the league  title and Mamelodi Sundowns at the moment are in top form collecting points from their opponents.

“We are taking this game in Mbombela seriously as we are gunning for all three points to finish the league in a respectable position.
“We know that we only have two games remaining so our priority is not to disappoint our supporters and the management by ending outside the Top Eight.”

The former Dynamos and Highlanders goalkeeper said the match would be a do-or-die encounter.
He said the clash brings back so many memories of the big matches he played in Zimbabwe.

“It was always a challenge because everyone will be expecting good results but my advantage now is that I’m more experienced as  I’m playing my football in one of the biggest leagues.”
The PSL is ranked seventh in the world.

Arubi urged supporters to come and witness a David and Goliath fight.
Former Highlanders and Dynamos goalkeeper Tendai Tanyanyiwa is the goalkeepers’ trainer at AmaTuks.

Lionel M’tizwa, David Mkandawire, Obert Moyo, Dominic Sithole and Obadiah Tarumbwa have also played for the Pretoria side.
AmaTuks play their last game against a rejuvenated Mpumalanga Black Aces on May 10.
