In our aim for GREATNESS as Beacon of Light Institute, without good conduct we are doing nothing but busy filling a hugely porous tank with precious oil! Again, Mark Twain was right! “Laws control the lesser man . . . Right conduct controls the GREATER ONE” You want to make a name as a Great Chartered Accountant, a Great Neurosurgeon, a Great Businessman, a Great Pilot, a Great Chemical Engineer or Software Engineer, or a Great Teacher, and yes, a Great Pastor! You need to be committed and show it in good conduct.
Last but not least, “There are no shortcuts to any place worth going,” Beverly Sills said this, and it should stick to our minds and hearts! Dedication is the one thing that will take us through the long tiresome road without temptation to take any shortcuts! Yes, everybody knows, school can be hard, it is even harder to pay the tuition fees, but with dedication we will all be happy in the end.
