The association will also take the opportunity to introduce the new executive to members. BAFA secretary Charles Ndlovu confirmed this development yesterday.
“Since the new season is about to begin we have to work out how we are going to run the league,” he said.
Ndlovu said the association had approached a number of companies inviting them to register their teams for the league.
“We are looking at developing soccer within Bulawayo and to have a fit workforce at our companies,” he said.
Ndlovu said he was looking forward to registering teams from companies such as Econet, Macro, ZBC, Ingwebu and many others.
He said the association expected these companies to not only provide teams but also sponsor the league in cash and kind.
Teams that have so far confirmed their participation include Masca FC, Titanic Academy, Otrick FC, BCC Westpark, BCC Golden Stars and High City, Burnside, Roubles United, ZPC West Park and NGA .
