AT LEAST, WE HAVE THESE SUPERWOMEN

THE Mighty Warriors will meet Zambia in the semi-finals of the COSAFA Women’s Championships after winning their group in South Africa yesterday.

Shadreck Mlauzi and his team needed, at least, a draw in their match against Botswana.

And, for long periods in the game, they were sailing, after an early goal by Ennety Chemhere, after just three minutes, gave them the comfort they wanted. The Mighty Warriors then hit the crossbar and the upright before a goal, four minutes from time, gave Botswana hope.

However, the Zimbabweans, appearing in their first regional tournament in two years, saw out the game comfortably and the 1-1 draw gave them the ticket into the last four.
