AN abusive dad was embarrassed in court after an audio of him beating up his young kids was played before magistrate Sharon Mashavire.
The sobbing boy on the audio begs him to stop, but he keeps on beating him up.
The audio was played in court at the hearing of Paradza Paradza’s protection order application against his wife, Sarudzai Sithole, in which he accused her of being abusive.
The application was dismissed due to lack of merit.
Sarudzai convinced the magistrate that she actually was the victim of domestic violence.
She told the court that she has a pending case against Paradza at the Mbare Magistrates’ Court.
“He is the one who abuses me, together with my children.
“In 2011, he had an affair with my niece.
“We don’t know peace at home anymore,” said Sarudzai.
Paradza claimed he was not the voice captured in the audio.
“I am opposing what she is saying. I am not the one in the audio,” he said.
Magistrate Mashavire then advised Sarudzai to apply for a protection order.
“It is very clear that Paradza’s submissions are not satisfying. Sarudzai you should apply for a protection order for you and the children.
“Stop abusing the children and maintain peace,” the magistrate said.
