Authorities are actively searching for Mr Mlandvo Dlamini, a Kingdom of Eswatini national believed to be a dangerous criminal with extensive links across Zimbabwe, South Africa, Mozambique, and Botswana.
Dlamini is suspected of being involved in high-end drug smuggling operations that pose significant threats to public safety in these countries.
A source from the Zimbabwe Police revealed that investigators successfully traced one of Dlamini’s girlfriends, Nokuthula Sithole, who provided critical insights into his illicit activities.
“Nokuthula told us that Dlamini would often boast about his connections, claiming he could evade arrest anytime,” the police source stated. “He believed he was untouchable.”
Sithole recounted her experience with Dlamini, saying, “He was very abusive. He would often say, ‘Even if you report me, nothing will happen.’ That made me fear for my life.”
She expressed that Dlamini’s threats created an environment of intimidation, preventing her from seeking help during their tumultuous relationship.
Furthermore, the police source revealed that Sithole discovered Dlamini had multiple other girlfriends, many of whom he was also abusive towards.
“One name that keeps coming up is Sibonelo Thandazile Dlamini. He would say she was the mother of his child and that he treated her the same way he treated me but she had constantly failed to leave him because of his connections,” Sithole mentioned.
In response to the growing concern over Dlamini’s activities, the Zimbabwe Police have reached out to their counterparts in South Africa and Swaziland to assist in capturing him.
“We are committed to bringing him to justice. His network must be dismantled,” the police source emphasized.
Authorities are determined to track down this notorious figure and put an end to the drug smuggling operations threatening the region’s safety and security.
