AVONDALE WOMAN LOSES CASH, BIBLE WHILE PRAYING

A 37-year-old woman lost her bible and US$1530 in a parked car in Greystone Park on Sunday.

Mutsa Njagu parked her Hyundai Taxon at River of Life Church car park.

Upon returning after about 10 minutes to pick her bible, she discovered that her left back window had been broken.

Harare provincial police spokesperson Inspector Luckmore Chakanza confirmed the case.

“Police are investigating a theft from car case at a church in Greystone Park,” said Insp Chakanza.

“The unidentified person took a white handbag containing an envelope with US$1000, another envelope with US$150, a wallet with US$80, personal documents and bibles,” said Insp Chakanza.
