WHEELSPINNER DJ Mzoe has cemented his status as one of the City of Kings and Queens’ most beloved deejays after emerging as the only DJ to make the cut in the Bulawayo Arts Awards (BAA) Top 10 People’s Choice Award category.

His inclusion in the highly competitive list sees him going head-to-head with musicians, a comedian and a radio presenter, a clear reflection of his widespread appeal beyond the decks.

Over the past years, DJ Mzoe has steadily carved a name for himself on the nightlife circuit, earning a loyal following through his energetic and consistent performances. He is best known for his regular Saturday sets at KoSamuriwo Pub and Grill, which have become a staple for revellers seeking vibrant, crowd-moving music.

Beyond Bulawayo, his footprint continues to grow, with regular guest appearances in Hwange and Kadoma, further underscoring his rising national profile.

Speaking on the nomination, DJ Mzoe said the recognition came as a pleasant surprise and a major career milestone.
“I’m so excited about this achievement because I really didn’t expect to be in the Top 10. I truly appreciate my fans for voting for me, and I thank them so much,” he said. – Follow on X: @mthabisi_mthire
