Baba Harare is set to make his second trip to Bulawayo this year on Saturday where he is billed to perform at the Palace Hotel.
The former Third Generation lead guitarist performed at the same venue in February and left fans begging for more. As a result, the artiste has been called back for yet another performance at the venue.
He is set to share the stage with DJ Ajaxxx, DJ Mandoza, and DJ Keitho.
The hotel’s proprietor Tapiwa Gandiwa said: “He’s one artiste who had a splendid performance when he came here early in the year. We’ve had to bring him back largely because of the fans who kept demanding that we call him back.”
Baba Harare is set to keep fans on their feet with songs from his 7th studio album titled Zimbabwean Giant. The nine-track release features an appearance from Jah Prayzah on a song called “Haubvire” and a cut titled “Wazonditenderedza Pfungwa” that features ExQ. Blot, Dan Lu P, Freeman HKD, Munyaradzi Munodawafa, and Mai TT are also featured in the project.
The Masvingo-born musician has been credited for reviving Jiti music in the country.
The Palace Hotel is proving to be the place to be in the city as last week, South African artist Toss performed for an almost capacity crowd at the venue.
