National police spokesperson Superintendent Paul Nyathi yesterday said investigations were still in progress.
He said they were appealing to anyone with information that might assist with investigations to contact any nearest police station.
On March 26, at around 9am, it is alleged that Priscilla Mangwiro (34) of Franscot Farm in Shamva was discharged from Parirenyatwa Maternity Hospital with a one-week-old baby boy.

She then went to sit on a bench outside the hospital ward and it is alleged that there were two unknown ladies who also sat on the same bench.
Police said at around 2.30pm, Mangwiro gave her baby to one of the women after she told them she wanted to go and buy some food.
The woman who was given the baby had short hair and was wearing a blue jean skirt and an ivory jacket.
Mangwiro came back after about 30 minutes and found the women, her baby and belongings missing.
She tried to locate them to no avail and a report was made to the police.
