Bafana Bafana face tricky fixture

the next 10 days.

Even bottom-placed Botswana, who have just a single point from their three games so far, will still feel they are still in with a shout if they can manage successive home wins against Ethiopia and CAR.

Botswana were unfortunate to lose their last qualifier away in Ethiopia, going down 1-0 to a late home goal but dominating parts of the match.

Home form has been crucial in this pool so far and it is the reason why South Africa will be thankful their next fixture against CAR is in Cameroon.

They could even wrap up the group with a game to spare if they win both their next two matches and Ethiopia lose in Botswana. That would take the pressure off for their final qualifier home to the Zebras in September.

What they must do on Saturday is at least match Ethiopia’s result in Botswana, and then hope for a win in Addis Ababa. — KickOff
