THE coronavirus pandemic has negatively impacted many societies and to give people hope that the sun will shine once again, songstress Mimmie will on Saturday drop visuals of her track Bambelela.

The track is off her four-track EP titled They Love Mimmie which features tracks, Because of you and One time.

Mimmie (real name Mubanga Natasha Tarukwana) said the visuals seek to give hope to many and ensure that they make the right decisions during such a tough time.

“Bambelela is a song of hope especially during this time where we are in uncertain times of Covid-19. There’s the ultimate question of do we get the vaccine or not? This is something that’s worrying and confusing many in societies,” said Mimmie who tackled such issues in the song.

She said the song had been on her mind way before Covid-19, but became more relevant when the pandemic hit.

“A lot of people have lost hope as they think the end has come, but through the track and soothing visuals, I hope they find hope and have faith for a prosperous and disease-free world.

“I initially wrote the song in 2017 and I remembered it last year when I was planning on dropping my EP.”

Featured on the visuals are some of Mimmie’s close friends and family. – @mthabisi_mthire
