I agree with the fact that today’s house-help is young, educated, ambitious and stylish, but I do not see this as a justification for men to stray and cheat with them. I am a woman too but sometimes I feel we give the maids too much power to wreck homes. As women we have to understand that there will always be young and beautiful women, they do not disappear from the world once a man gets married.
It seems like every other day on the news or general talk with stories about men cheating on their beautiful wives with employees, an intern or some other type of domestic worker. Nowadays a number of men who have sex with housemaids are constantly growing and most of the days we hear women argue about it.
Many women use their salary and position at work to transform themselves from the beautiful feminine woman they are into becoming more masculine at home. This makes feminine and submissive maids at home very attractive to men because a maid knows how to go down on her knees while serving your husband.
The maid takes over being the woman of the house because she washes, irons, cleans, plans and even prepares meals for your husband at home. Technically she is the “wife”.
Some women only attend to their own needs and leave the maid to attend to their husbands’ needs. The helper makes their bed, washes his pants and even cooks and serves the husband’s favourite dishes. She is there when the husband needs assistance while you sit, cross-legged and shout out instructions. So who is to blame when the maid “assists” you between the sheets too? Human beings by nature love a person who is close to them, a person who submits and is always there and keen to help.
Some women are impolite to their husbands and this forces them to look for comfort elsewhere. Let us face it, every man wants to feel that they are respected and are in charge. Love it or hate it but that is just the way it is. This is apparent in marriages where the woman feels she is financially better off than the husband and that he is not more deserving. This frustrates husbands, who feel women must be submissive to them.
The result is that the husband looks for an easy, submissive alternative around them for sex, and in this case, the best option then becomes the housemaids. Most men want to get away from today’s over-empowered and aggressive women, such as their wives and bosses, and be with more regular, easy-going women with whom they can relax and not have to try so hard. And so maids become the perfect and readily available candidates.
Not long ago, a certain well-known woman collapsed after finding her husband in the arms of their housemaid. Do not be quick to judge and laugh because she is not alone because lovers have split and families have broken up as a result of some men not knowing their boundaries. Men claim that women today are not being wives, forgive me but that is what I was told, remember I am a woman too but some things just have to be said.
Some men suggest that most career women are distant and aggressive that they have become a turn off to men.
“She denies you sex, she is moody and does not talk to you. So, you look for pleasure elsewhere,” reads one of my e-mails. In another e-mail women were blamed for neglecting themselves now that you have put a ring on her finger.
“While the maid is busy looking after your family, herself and her body, you are busy throwing clothes on instead of wearing them.
It seems most women tend to ignore their appearance the moment they get married. Someone is only conscious about their looks during dating, but after they get married, they dress shabbily, they do not mind their looks at all so the man will easily notice the maid’s looks.”
One interesting e-mail was from one man who said his wife was never there but the maid was always available and he said he could not recall the last time he kissed his wife, because “She is just never there”. He further suggested that naturally, men use their masculinity to prey on the maids. The girl will not say no, because there is this whole issue that women must be submissive. Plus, she is attracted to money and the allure of sleeping with her boss’ husband.
Let there be a boundary. As couples, know that marriage works like courtship. If you do not create time for each other or do things to please each other, then it will fail.
I think sometimes men look at women like candy, saying to themselves, “Ooh that looks good I’ll take one of those.” Maybe this sense of entitlement is partly a result of an increasingly maid-boss relationships.
The other day, an educated friend left me speechless with his ridiculous argument. With strong conviction, he claimed that if his wife brought home an attractive house girl, he would stray, just like any other man would.
