Does it ever occur to you that after a hard day’s work, you may have nothing to show for it?
The best returns in life go to the sharpshooters.
Opportunities do not always present themselves in the same shapes and sizes.
Life-changing opportunities are usually few and are far apart.
You may not know when the next best opportunity will present itself.
You need to capture each moment that presents itself, with precision and tenacity.
Given a single chance, you should always excel.
Always be in the habit of nailing it with the first shot.
Second chances are for mediocre minds.
The world thrives on fierce competition, and be rest assured that the next contender will scoop the prize you missed.
If you are asked to speak, make it impactful.
Finalise your business deal with the first meeting.
Do not give anyone a reason to second guess what you say.
Inspire confidence in the decision makers, so that they are bold in affording you an opportunity from the first meeting.
Speak with conviction, and clear all doubt in your expression from the first impression.
If you cannot express yourself convincingly the first time, then you might not be a success story.
Follow up meetings should be to finalise the deals that were sealed in the first meeting. Get it done with the first shot.
Life has nothing to do with the volume and length of an argument, but your ability to hit the bull’s eye.
No hunter takes meat home, if they miss, even if the miss was slight.
Life does not reward near misses.
Near misses become a source of regret and frustration.
If you shoot make it a kill, otherwise you risk wounding the prey and see it dash away.
The hunter can become the hunted, if you bungle your first shot.
If you do not take the prey with the first shot, you always risk missing out because the second shot is usually in haste.
A wounded animal is dangerous. That is where you risk exposing yourself to the competition, who will then capitalise on your weaknesses.
If you do not seal the deal, the next presenter will perfect your presentation and get away with it.
Always make your pitch water-tight, so that there is nothing to borrow as you would have already sealed the deal.
Do not seek to blame a poor shot on your environment or circumstances.
It is a given that in life issues can come up, some of which can militate against your aim of a good shot.
The environment is full of noise, but that should never be an excuse.
People around you can be a distraction, and you may not be presented with the most comfortable time and space take your shot.
All said and done, if you wish to be a success story, you simply need to be a sharpshooter.
It does not matter that your prey shows up late during your hunt, or too early.
At any point, make sure you have the shot ready and make it count.
Your best opportunity may come to you at a very tender age, but that is no excuse to waste it.
It may never come to be again, or until you are of an age that still does not allow you to take the opportunity.
A perfect shot will form the foundation from which you will rise to greatness.
A well-taken shot propels you to greater heights.
Being a sharp shooter, do not waste time and energy on the same things.
Every available opportunity should enlarge your territory, and not see you do unnecessary repeat efforts.
Always remember that a lot needs to be done in your time, so do not waste time on repeating shots.
You need to maintain calm. There is never a point in life that you should lose an opportunity because you got over-excited.
Timing is equally important. Be aware that the window of opportunity will not be open forever.
You need to excel before the opportunity is lost or flooded.
It is not always the that you need to alert the world as to what you are planning in your head.
The majority of stolen ideas are from poor first shots that attracted a lot of unnecessary attention.
Let the world know when it is all done and dusted.
Once you become a sharpshooter, your life will never be the same.
