BUSINESSES have been urged to be innovative so as to circumvent challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) called on players in the industry to adopt innovative ways of going about business to help them minimise losses and cushion against collapse as they continue operating under the enhanced lockdown.

ZNCC (Manicaland) vice president  Mr Charlton Chimbira said while Covid-19 had negatively affected industry’s operations, the impact can be alleviated through sustainable business models that ensure profitability so that they stay afloat.

He urged businesses to continue complying with the health guidelines and lockdown regulations put in place by Government to fight the pandemic.
