Beenie Man hits it big with new album

an international profile, Beenie Man hit it big with “Many Moods” which sold over 250 000 copies.
Its most successful single was “Who Am I (Sim Simma)”, produced by Jeremy Harding.

It made the top 40 of the Billboard 200 pop chart and remains one of his biggest selling hits.
The album peaked at number 151 on Billboard’s 200 Album chart and 35 on its R&B Albums list.

“Many Moods of Moses” produced two other big hits in “Oysters and Conch” and “Foundation”.
The latter was produced by Sly and Robbie.

Interestingly, “Many Moods of Moses” was nominated for a 1999 Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album, but lost out to Sly and Robbie’s Friends. – Jamaican Observer.
