BENJANI BLASTS CRUISE SHIP SCAM!

Online Reporter

FOOTIE legend Benjani Mwaruwari has come out swinging, denying any links to a shady cruise ship investment scam making waves on WhatsApp!
The former Warriors captain, who once lit up Europe with stints at Portsmouth and Manchester City, is fuming after crooks used his name and doctored pics to peddle a bogus luxury cruise business.

“I’m not part of any cruise ship hustle or WhatsApp investment group,” Benjani told the BBC. “These people are using my face and name without permission to trick innocent people.”
Screenshots doing the rounds in WhatsApp groups claim Benjani is inviting folks to invest in a glamorous overseas venture. But the football icon says it’s all lies — and he’s had enough.

“I’ve worked hard to build my name and reputation. It’s painful to see it dragged into a scam. I urge everyone to be careful and report these criminals,” he said.
The retired striker, now focused on football development, has alerted Zimbabwean police and cybercrime authorities. His camp is also weighing legal action.

Fake endorsements, celebrity name drops, and photoshopped images are the scammers’ dirty tools — and Benjani is the latest victim.
Online fraudsters have been targeting big names lately, exploiting economic desperation and dangling fake riches to trap the public.

Cops are once again warning citizens: don’t fall for WhatsApp wonders, verify all investments, and remember — if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
