Bentley qualifies for Swazi Open

GREG Bentley has qualified to join Tongo Charamba and Ryan Cairns in the Investec Royal Swazi Open, which tees off tomorrow after a good outing in the qualifying round at Royal Swazi Sun Country Club yesterday. Bentley took to the qualifying round with fellow Zimbabwean Mahammad Rauf Mandhu who failed to make the qualifiers as he finished 16th during the single round. Bentley finished fifth where he was tied with South Africans Ryan Tipping, Wynand Dingle, J G Claasen and Gert Myburgh.

The Royal Swazi Open is the first tournament for the Sunshine Tour after the Zimbabwe Open. Meanwhile, on the local circuit Steven Simukai was crowned the Rowland Park Open golf champion in Zvishavane at the weekend.
