Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles married actor Richard Lawson on Monday night.
Tina Knowles tied the knot with ‘‘Poltergeist’’ actor Richard Lawson on a yacht off the California coast last night (12.04.15), TMZ reports.
All the guests at the wedding — including Beyonce, her husband Jay Z, their three-year-old daughter Blue Ivy and Tina’s other daughter, Solange Knowles were asked to wear white to the evening ceremony.
Tina who split from her daughters’ father, Mathew Knowles, in 2009 after over three decades of marriage was seen arriving at the venue earlier in the day with Beyonce to check out the yacht, before leaving in a black car and returning later for the ceremony.
While it is unknown how many other guests were at the wedding, the yacht had a maximum capacity of 300 people. The fashion designer recently opened up about finding love with Richard who has also been married before after her divorce.
Tina, who started dating the 68-year-old actor in 2013, said: ‘’I’m at my happiest I’ve been in a long, long time.’’
In June 2013, Tina’s ex-husband Mathew married former model Gena Charmaine Avery in his hometown of Houston, Texas. — TMZ.
