Big turnout for Cde Chigudu’s farewell

Mourners from all walks of life have converged at Chigudu Village in Chiendambuya area of Headlands to pay their last respects to national hero and former Manicaland Provincial Governor, Cde Tinaye Elisha Nzirasha Chigudu who died last Wednesday.

The body of the national hero is expected to arrive at his rural home this morning so that locals can have a chance to bid farewell to the gallant son of the soil.

A decorated war veteran, Chigudu’s body will be taken to Harare for burial at the National Heroes Acre.
