Biggie’s Emerald House just another prank

Though the announcement came as a shock to housemates in both houses it was of little significance as a twist.

Since the announcement was made some four days ago, there hasn’t been much reaction as probably Big Brother aka Biggie had anticipated.

The reason being that it has not in any way affected votes and, secondly, it would take the most stupid housemate to believe the existence of a third house when the housemates witnessed the Opening Show.

In other words, it was clear the housemates had a glimpse of who was representing which country at the opening show.

There were 28 housemates divided into two houses  — the Ruby and the Diamond.
Already some housemates have swapped houses and there’s nothing to suggest that there is another house. Only the most gullible would buy that.

Just as well, the housemates debated on the non-existing Emerald House but the debate didn’t last for two days.

It really doesn’t matter Biggie whether there are three, four or five houses because each house would still have its own nominations every week and evictions every week.

The only effect of having more houses is that it would take time for viewers to get acquainted with the houses and instead of having just two channels screening the show there would also be a third channel.

Already you can see from what is happening in the Ruby and Diamond houses, each nomination show is different from the other house.

Quite honestly, by now it should be pretty obvious that whoever stays for 91 days in the Ruby House will be put up against the last man (or woman) standing in the Diamond House or the other option is to merge the two houses in the final weeks.

So for now, the Emerald House twist is just but another prank to the mind game but does not add fun to the show. The only twist that is happening in the houses is where housemates are being swapped between the houses.

It is a good idea because what it does is to kill existing alliances while new ones emerge.
It’s a pity that two weeks into the show, the two Ugandan representatives  have been eliminated.

For now it’s team Zimbabwe and where Zambians are put up for eviction let’s rally behind them.
