BINDURA, Zimbabwe — Bindura University of Science Education (BUSE) celebrated the graduation of 2 394 students today, marking a significant milestone for the institution.

Among the graduates are 7 doctorate holders, 28 postgraduate diploma recipients, 422 master’s degree graduates, 1,667 undergraduates, and 270 diploma graduates.
Notably, 52 percent of the graduands are female, reflecting the university’s commitment to promoting gender equality in education.
The graduation ceremony was attended by university officials, faculty, families, and friends, all gathering to honour the achievements of the new graduates. The Vice-Chancellor praised the dedication and hard work of the students, emphasizing the importance of their contributions to society.

This year’s graduation highlights not only the academic accomplishments of the students but also the strides made towards inclusivity within higher education in Zimbabwe. The university continues to focus on empowering women and ensuring equal opportunities for all students.
