Bindura Utd bounce back to winning ways

BINDURA United bounced back to winning ways when they edged Karoi United 2-0 in a World Navi Northern Region Division One match at Chipadze.
The Mashonaland Central team got their goals from Tendai Mujaji and Daniel Kamunenga in the 28th and 50th minutes.
Bindura United had crashed to a humiliating 0-4 loss at the hands of ZRP Morris their worst defeat of the season but they recovered, using their home comforts, and now go into this week’s break in third position.

Coach John Wilo and his men are now four points adrift of log leaders Gunners who have since taken control of the race. Wilo had Kamunenga who is getting some crucial goals to thank for he once again assured the team of maximum points.

The other match saw Llyod Chitembwe a relived man after he had forgotten how to win and managed to grab a full set of points.
Talent Tavazadza scored his fifth goal of the season to inspire Starbill to a crucial 1-0 win at the weekend.

There were only two matches in the Zifa Southern Region Division One Soccer League at the weekend.
Tsholotsho returned to the top of the table after a 2-0 win over Mpumalanga while Portland Cement and New West City settled for a 1-1 draw.
Ocient Ncube and Rodrick Mufudza were on target for Tsholotsho.

Former leaders Ntabazinduna dropped into third place and Agent Sawu and his men now trail the leaders by two points.
