This often occurs due to their susceptibility to scams, poor financial decision-making, and frivolous spending habits.
The phrase emphasises the idea that foolish individuals are poor stewards of wealth and struggle to hold onto their money.
Never mind that this was recovery of ill-gotten wealth!
Despite his name, he has brought shame and disappointment to his family and community, rather than being a blessing.
It is astonishing that someone who once recovered a substantial fortune, amounting to millions of dollars, has now squandered nearly everything he had amassed, leaving a trail of financial ruin.
I mean everything!
At some point, we were all happy for him as we thought he was getting in the right direction after he opened a well-equipped earthmoving company in our beautiful city.
We even celebrated and praised him owing to some of his works of philanthropy as he donated to various organisations that needed assistance in cash or kind.
However, his unplanned way of spending caught up with him as he splashed bundles of cash on slay queens of all shapes and sizes, in our beautiful city and beyond.
He went on some foreign trips for holiday even when employees at the earth moving company were not getting their salaries, rentals not being paid and spares not being bought.
It was sad and painful for Blabber to see the once flourishing earthmoving company loosing valuable assets one-by-one until there was nothing to transact anymore.
As we speak, word reaching Yours Truly is that this bloke is in deep trouble with service providers and money lenders as he is failing to pay what he owes them.
His absence in the streets has even fuelled widespread speculation that the good-for-nothing fat boy is now back behind bars after duping several individuals and companies.
He knew he would be a regular inhabitant there.
Blabber will surely knock on several office doors to find out whether indeed he is back behind bars and as usual, gentle reader, you will be the first with the story.
Blabber will not end there, but also unravel the identity of the person, who worsened the situation for this broke conman by introducing him to a life of drugs.
