BLACK is magic!
A child on his death bed was saved by an unlikely source a�� a black goat. Dettoy Mapuranga (57)a��s son had chest pains and would shiver at anytime. Traditional healers in Gokwea��s Kabwaira village failed to heal the poor child and even medical doctors too failed.
a�?I tried everything in my power to help my son but all went in vain. The medical and traditional doctors failed to identify what exactly was the problem. We were only waiting for him to die because the situation got worse everyday,a�? said Mapuranga.
From nowhere, his wife Modern Mapuranga started speaking gibberish.
a�?I had never heard her speak like that. I didna��t understand one bit of it and took her to a sangoma maybe we could get assistance,a�? he added.
That was the key to helping the child, so it turned out.
a�?The sangoma said it was my grandmother speaking through my wife. The message was that I should bring a black goat and beat it with a mopane whip, braai it with its skin without cutting it and then eat the meat without salt. That way my son would be healed,a�? he said.
The next day the son was back to normal and from what the sangoma told them he was being punished because the family used the wrong goat during her memorial service (umbuyiso).
