Black Mambas enhance chances of promotion

ZIFA Northern Region Division One side, log leaders Black Mambas enhanced their chances of winning the championship when they overcame Come Again 1-0 at Morris Depot on Saturday.

The John “Toto” Ncube coached side had the better of Come Again who are now under the guidance of Bigboy Mawiwi.

Ncube is happy with the progress they are making.

“I am happy with the win and I am looking forward to continue doing well. The team is playing as a unit and after last week’s defeat that hands of Chinhoyi Stars we managed to bounce back. “We will remain focused on our coming fixtures,” said Ncube.

The other match saw Commando Bullets coach Nqobile Mafu living up to his promise after he managed to restrict second placed Harare City to a nil-all draw.

Mafu whose side is fighting relegation managed a single point which took their tally to 31 points. Chegutu Pirates continued with their fine run when they got the better of Shamva Mine at Pfupajena.
