South African house duo Black Motion is headed to Bulawayo for an exclusive All Black Party at the upmarket Cosmopolitan night club on December 20.

This will be Cosmopolitan’s first major show after opening two weeks ago.

The show where entrance has been pegged at $15 for advance tickets, $20 at the door and $30 for VIP will see local DJs Victor Bravo, Nizhe DebSoul, Liz, Slimza, Staffa,Nospa, Crazy Dee, Ras Obido, Wellwonz, Eugy, Tshutshu and Crazy Black sharing the decks with their SA counterparts. Holding fort for Cosmopolitan will be its resident DJs Mzoe, Kananjo, Ngwesto and Keezy. Tickets are already on sale at Cosmopolitan.

Organiser of the show Mduduzi Mdlongwa of 3D Events said preparations for the event were at an advanced stage.

“People should come watch Black Motion in action because the duo deserves to be given a grand event after a long year. We want to give them an experience that they’ll never forget as we normally do,” said Mdlongwa who hosted the group at Hartsfield Tshisa Nyama last year.

He said they were hosting the duo on a Wednesday because Black Motion was fully booked for the festive season.

“Normally, we host them on December 22, but this year, they were booked early in South Africa so they gave us the December 20 slot and we were Ok with it as we thought that since the festive season is here, people just want to have fun regardless of the day,” said Mdlongwa.

Last year’s show at Hartsfield Rugby ground was riddled with violence after the duo got to the stage late. However, Mdlongwa said he would ensure that history will not repeat itself.
