Black Rhinos set for US$500k deal . . . As journey for PSL return begins

BLACK Rhinos are expected to unveil a US$500 000 sponsorship deal in Harare on Wednesday night as the army side launches a fierce bid to return to the PSL.

This, in many ways, could be a big statement that the 2026 MCM Estates-Northern Region Soccer League (NRSL) could again not be one for the faint hearted.

During the ceremony, the team will also be expected to showcase their new kit and unveil their squad for the upcoming season.

Rhinos were relegated to Division One in 2022 and despite entering the past two seasons as favourites, they failed to gain promotion towards the end.

At Wednesday historic event, the Commander of the Zimbabwe National Army is expected to be the guest of honour.

The sponsorship deal, which could be bigger compared to what other teams in PSl have, is expected to bolster Chauya Chipembere for a new era.
