NORTHERN Region Division One log leaders Black Rhinos continued with their fine run when they got the better of rivals Cranborne Bullets at One Commando on Saturday.
Chauya Chipembere coach Stanford “Stix” Mtizwa believes it’s too early to talk about the championship despite being 13 points clear of the chasing pack. Rhinos won 2-1.
“They surprised us when they took the lead but we managed to get back at them,” said the football legend.
“Our aim now is to maintain the momentum and ensure that we keep the gap.
“We don’t want to be complacent.”
He also believes the Defence Forces Select team, which takes on CAPS United this afternoon, has a lot of quality players.
“I think we have good players who are capable of doing well and I wish them all the best. Some of our players from Black Rhinos are in that team and they can rise to the occasion,” said Mtizwa.
