Black Rhinos, Triple B draw

second minute when Brighton Mugoni fired a cracker that found the goalkeeper alert.

Black Rhinos nearly broke the deadlock midway in the first half when Brian Muzondiwa’s effort crashed against the upright post.

The match generally was a tale of two halves with the hosts Black Rhinos dominating the first half while Tripple B were alive in the second period.

Black Rhinos coach Arthur Tutani said he was content with the single point as they fight against relegation.

“It’s a great improvement from the last match and I can see that the youngsters are gelling into the team.

“We missed a couple of glorious chances otherwise we should have buried them in an avalanche of goals in the first half. The major worry right now is the strikers who are not scoring goals but I am happy that this is the first time that we have not conceded a goal this season and we are hoping for the better,” said Tutani.

Peter Manoti, the Tripple B coach was also glad to collect the single point away from home.

“We created several chances but we could not score. However, we are happy with the point away from although our intention was to win.

“Winning away from home is becoming elusive for teams now,” said Manoti.

Tripple B will host Buffaloes while Black Rhinos travel to Mandava to face FC Platinum.
