ZIMDANCEHALL musician Blot’s drug possession trial has been postponed again due to the absence of a forensic report from the police.
His lawyer Dumisani Mthombeni has warned that if the report is not submitted on the next remand date, they will refuse further remand.
Blot, whose real name is Takura Chiwoniso, is facing charges of possession of dangerous drugs after being arrested on June 15 following a tip-off that he was taking crystal meth in his parked car in Sunningdale. The forensic report will determine whether the substance he had in his possession was actually crystal meth or not.
The trial is set to resume on July 7 pending the forensic report.
