THE organisers of the Selekta Base Blowout festival have announced that their show, in which they will be celebrating the Heroes Day, will go ahead as scheduled at Borrowdale Racecourse after they received clearance for the event.
The Selekta Base Blowout festival is a celebration of car culture, music and lifestyle.
It is an afternoon of family fun with different DJs and artists taking part.
This year, Killer T, Bagga and Young Gemini are set to be part of the show.
There will be the drifting burnouts, a car show accompanied by a carnival which will be featuring King Kantra and LB Motorsport from South Africa.
The organisers said:
‘’Kids aged 12 years and below will enter freely and the admission fee for adults is US$10 and those with a cooler box will pay an extra US$5, there are no advance tickets allowed.
‘’This festival is starting at 10 am and ending at 18:30, there will also be static car displays, contests, midway games, concession food and drinks and kids’ entertainment.”
Different events whether you are a car enthusiast, music lover, or just looking for a fun day out with family.
All car clubs in Zimbabwe are being invited to showcase their fleet at the Selekta Base Blowout festival.
Police issued a statement last week advising the public that they had not suspended public gatherings ahead of the SADC summit.
