SCOTTLAND GAVE ME THE BEST OFFER, SAYS RONALD PFUMBIDZAI

RONALD Pfumbidzai says ambitious newboys Scottland gave him the best offer, among the clubs which were battling for his signature, including those in South Africa.

The Warriors defender was the big signing by the Mabvuku side who also added King Nadolo, from Premiership side Yadah, into their squad.

“I am a player and at the end of the day I look for offers and whether it’s good for me and my family.

“At the end of the day, I am at a point that as long as my family is happy I am okay with it.

“The target is to help the team gain promotion.

“We have to be champions come the end of the season.”

Pfumbidzai says he won’t be focusing on what people say and think about his move as he is mature enough to dictate his life.

“Having the same vision and ambitions altogether made me settle for Scottland. And it’s not about people who say whatever about me.

“If I suffer from anything, they are the same who laugh at me.

“It wasn’t easy and there was pressure from people but I am experienced enough to handle those situations and my teammates are also supporting me.”

He believes the ZIFA Northern Region Soccer League is competitive if what he witnessed on his debut against Black Rhinos is anything to go by.

The Mabvuku side are in fourth place and four points adrift of log leaders MWOS going into Match Day 21.

They will host struggling Zambezi at the Heart Stadium on Sunday.

“Judging from the Rhinos game, it is very competitive, and I don’t know about other games to come but with the game I have witnessed, the league is very competitive.

“But, as a player, you take each game as it comes,” said Pfumbidzai.
