Speaking at a candlelight prayer vigil in Riverdale, Georgia on Monday night, Bobbi’s cousin Shayne Brown said: “She’s getting better. We just ask for people to continue to pray.’’
Asked how Bobby, 46, is coping, he also told “Entertainment Tonight”: “Uncle’s in good spirits. It’s just family issues right now.
“Uncle just wants his privacy. The family wants its privacy.’’ The R&B star’s lawyer, Christopher Brown, also poured cold water on reports his daughter would be taken off life support on the third anniversary of her mother Whitney Houston’s death.
He added: “This is a criminal investigation and the integrity of that process requires silence.’’ Meanwhile, Shayne and his mother, Tina Brown, also insist their recent physical altercation in a hotel room “was blown out of proportion.’’
Tina, who is Bobby’s sister, explained: “I was upset. You know, I’ve been dealing with my niece and her being in the hospital. It was just a lot of emotions and I had a drink and I was frustrated and I was trying to make a point and I threw a glass. Unfortunately, it hit my son.’’ – Bangshowbiz.
