THE bodies of Zimbabwean mother, Nothabo Zandile Tshuma, and her two daughters, Natalie and Nala, arrived at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport in Harare this morning after days of anxious waiting.
However, their grieving family in Bulawayo must endure a little longer before they are reunited with their loved ones.
The three were repatriated from the United Kingdom, where they were allegedly murdered last month. Their return had been delayed by adverse weather, which disrupted connecting flights and postponed their arrival in Zimbabwe.
The bodies are expected to be transported to Bulawayo, where family members have been waiting to receive them and begin funeral proceedings.
Burial is set for Tuesday at Old Luveve Cemetary in Bulawayo and the funeral service will be held at Bretheren in Christ church in New Lobengula.
Nothabo’s husband, Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma, is facing three murder charges authorised by UK prosecutors. He is currently in custody in South Africa pending extradition to the United Kingdom.
