Body Fitness Centre owner dismisses rumour

“There are people spreading the rumour that Body Fitness Centre is being closed but that is not true. Body Fitness Centre is not going to close . . . We are still operating at our normal time and days,” said Mapfungautsi.
Mapfungautsi said the negative statements have affected their operations as some of their members have stopped coming to the gym and are not paying their monthly subscriptions.
“We have 560 members at the gym but right now some have stopped coming for training. Most people are not paying their fees because they heard that the gym is being closed.
“This gym was established in 1992, we have been operating from this place for 20 years. We train people from different backgrounds. We have high profile people training here. We work with people in sport.
“Most of the top bodybuilders are from this gym among them, Bothwell Kawadza,” said Mapfungautsi. The gym offers training programmes in bodybuilding, aerobics, personal training, physical fitness and karate.
