BOITY Thulo has spoken out about claims that her private parts could be seen through her dress at the South Africa Music Awards (SAMAs) on Saturday night.
Twitter went crazy after the picture of Boity surfaced with some users zooming into the picture to prove that her private part was showing while others argued it was a shadow.
Speaking to Daily Sun about the dress she wore to the awards in Durban, Boity said it was clear that one could not see her punani.
“It was the shadow of a flower on the dress. People want to believe what they want to believe,” said Boity.
She said other than feeling irritated, she wasn’t emotionally affected by the comments.
Mduduzi Gama commented: “Boity’s dress picture is going to the SoccerZone for the Professor to tell us if there was an offside or not.”
Mama Sgebengu posted: “So Boity’s punani is also making an appearance at the SAMAs?”
Tembela Kardashian wrote: “I zoomed into Boity’s dress. I thought I was seeing things. I had to go find my glasses.”
Meanwhile, AKA is also trending on Twitter as people are mocking him for not winning a SAMA. By the end of the award show, a different hashtag had taken over – #AKAwinanga meaning “he didn’t win” in Zulu.
Twitter went wild and started making fun of the fact that rapper AKA went home empty handed.
“AKA had two songs nominated in one category but still didn’t manage to secure an award” – said people on Twitter.
Cassper Nyovest and DJ Euphonic did not hesitate to capitalise on AKA’s failure through various tweets accompanied with crying emoticons. Aka however kept his composure through it all.
“After putting in the effort . . . all that shade. All the attention seeking, all people can talk about is #AKAwinanga,” tweeted AKA. – DailySun
