Borrowdale Primary School hit by thieves again

BORROWDALE Primary School has lost more textbooks after thieves struck for the second time within a week.

The thieves allegedly used an unknown object to force open the doors to two classroom blocks and stole 147 Grade 1 text books, 200 Grade 2 text books and went away unnoticed.

Harare provincial police spokesperson confirmed the case, saying that the books are worth US$3 000.

Last week, the School lost some textbooks after thieves gained entry into a Grade 3 classroom block.
