ECONOMIC Empowerment Group (EEG) president and socialite, Mike Chimombe, says he sees the grace of God with each passing year.
Chimombe turned 41yesterday.
He told H-Metro it was amazing how time flies.
“I am grateful for all those who have stood by me and please let us continue to walk this journey together,” said Chimombe.
He gave special thanks to his family for shaping him into what he is today.
“I am very grateful, and appreciative of my family, as they always motivate and inspire me to aspire for the best,” he said.
Chimombe said he will continue to lobby for the economic empowerment of young people in the country.
He urged young people to put God first, in whatever they do in life.
“I am here because of the Lord.
“Let us all put God first, in whatever we do, in our spheres of life,” said Chimombe.
He said nothing was impossible in the eyes of the Lord.
EEG vice-president, Bheki Moyo, wished Chimombe a happy birthday.
“May the Lord continue to keep him in good health, and spirit, and also shower him with abundant wisdom as he leads the youth of the country to economic empowerment,” said Moyo.
EEG Mashonaland West chairman, Tapiwanaishe Chikondowa, said:
“I want to thank the Lord for looking after our president as he continuously endeavours to work for the betterment of the young people of Zimbabwe through the EEG,” said Chikondowa.
“As Mash West, we are delighted and will continuously work and support your visionary way of doing things.”
