REGGAE-DANCEHALL singer, Boss Pumacol, was on fire in Zvimba at the weekend.
It was his first show in Zvimba and it lived up to expectations.
He performed at Kutama Mission where the Deputy Minister of Youth, Sport, Arts and Recreation, Tino Machakaire, had a meeting with the area’s youths.
Fans were captivated by Pumacol’s performance, which blended music and interactive art, seamlessly.
“I was blown away by the energy and diversity of the community.
“It was a truly unique opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life through my music,” he said.
Ndunge Yut, who was part of the line-up, also gave a good performance.
Dressed in a white and grey outfit, Ndunge Yut wowed his fans who, most of the time, sang along with him.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Machakaire encouraged rural and young talented artists to pursue their dreams.
He said that if the young talent is nurtured, it can help end early marriages and pregnancies.
“Our young people make significant progress when they are attached to a healthy living and healthy adult who supports them.
“We should listen to them and hold them accountable to their word.
“Our work is intensive, which is intentional, to produce positive results.
“As a Ministry we are passionate about young people who have creative ideas, are community-minded and have a desire to gain new skills.
“Do you recognise this person?
It could be you,” he said.
Enzo Ishall and other local artists like Gushungo also performed at the event.
