THERE will be enough entertainment for Highlanders FC supporters at the Club House thanks to longtime benefactors.
Some Bosso faithful prefer to call two television sets and a projector donatedA� by losing vice chairmanship aspirant Kenneth Mhlophe (ABOVE), the eventual winner Modern Ngwenyaa��s 55 inch television setA� (with 3D technology)A� and another TV set donated by Delta Beverages in 2010 a a�?fan parka�?.
Club CEO Ndumiso Gumede said the donations will be used in creating a fan park at the Club House.
a�?The donated gadgets will be used to set up a fan park outside the Club House,a�? Gumede said.
Gumede added that one of the donations, was a fulfillment of vice chairman Morden Ngwenyaa��s election manifesto.
a�?Ngwenya made his promise when he sought to be elected into the cluba��s leadership. He fulfilled it with this television,a�? Gumede added. Ngwenya was elected Highlanders vice-chairperson in a closely-contested poll, shrugging off a challenge from Bulawayo entrepreneur Kenneth Mhlophe in February.
Ngwenya was chairman of the Harare chapter of the Highlanders supporters and he joined chairman Peter Dube, treasurer Donald Ndebele, secretary Emmett Ndlovu and committee member Wisdom Mabhena in the Bosso leadership.Ndebele beat former Premier Soccer League chief cashier, Charles Ndlovu by 19 votes, picking up 115 votes against Ndlovua��s 86 for the treasurera��s post.
