HIGHLANDERS’ first-half of the year performance will come under scrutiny from members this morning when the club holds its mid-season extraordinary general at the clubhouse.

High on the agenda will be the club’s constitutional review process that has faced apathy from members with a few taking part in the process. The constitutional review update is likely to take much of the time as the administration seeks to take a step forward towards the adoption of the new structure in part fulfilment of the Fifa Club licensing regulations.

Members were last month afforded another opportunity to make submissions on the draft that had been distributed at the

Annual General Meeting held in January this year. The senior team’s performance is also set to come up for discussion but the half year has largely been a positive one for the club with the executive and technical department heeding previous calls by members to have a largely home grown side and return to the Bosso culture of fishing from the juniors.
