Bosso host CAPS United

Bosso have made a good start this year and are yet to lose a match in 12 outings despite experiencing a dip in form in the last few weeks.
But, after winning 1-0 at Gunners during the midweek, to end a depressing run of three draws in succession, Zambian coach Kaindu is confident that his side has re-discovered their momentum.
“We are prepared for the big game. Obviously there are high expectations from the players and the fans alike because of the way we started our campaign this year.

“Our opponents CAPS United have also been enjoying good form of late and we expect an interesting game,” said Kaindu.
Kaindu revealed they have all but one player on the injury list, and will be looking to field their best eleven in the starting line-up.
They will be hoping to return to their scoring ways after experiencing a goal drought recently.

Highlanders enjoyed goal harvests at the beginning of the season with their strikers averaging three goals per game, with Milton Ncube (5), Graham Ncube (5) and midfilder Simon Munawa (4) getting most of the goals.
Bosso have been excellent in defence and they are likely to leave their back four of captain Innocent Mapuranga, Erick Mudzingwa, Atlast Musasa and Bruce Kangwa untouched.

Last year CAPS United fell 0-1 at Barbourfields after succumbing to a solitary strike by defender Gilbert Banda but they came back strongly in the reverse leg to win 3-1 at the National Sports Stadium.
Kaindu is under no illusion about the gravity of the challenge that awaits them tomorrow but insisted they will not make any special plans for the game.

“We train according to our strengths and not according to the opponents we face. Every game is important to us and so we treat it as such,” said Kaindu.
Influential forward, Rahman Kutsanzira, who crossed the floor to join CAPS United this year, will be coming back to the City of Kings to face his former team. Kutsanzira has been in top form of late but his coach, Sean Connor, wants him to improve from Wednesday’s performance when they drew 1-1 with Black Mambas.
CAPS United got a boost to their strikeforce with the addition of Shingi Kawondera to their squad this week.

The former Warriors man gave a good account on his Green Machine debut and is also expected to play a big part tomorrow.
Makepekepe are likely to miss their first choice goalkeeper Edmore Sibanda, who suffered a head injury in the match against Mambas.
Washington Pakamisa was also taken to hospital after suffering concussion but the pair has since been discharged and are recovering well.

“I think it is a game everybody should look up to. Rahman (Kutsanzira) is going back to Bulawayo. He is in fantastic form although he was a bit quiet on Wednesday.
“I think the players now believe in themselves, We have a bunch of hardworking players and these players need to be appreciated,” said Connor.
Dynamos coach Callisto Pasuwa will be hoping to soak up the pressure when they return to Rufaro tomorrow to host lowly Blue Rangers in a match they need to win to keep the pace with the leading teams in the race.

DeMbare edged Quelaton 1-0 on Wednesday to climb three places up the ladder to sixth on the log standings on 20 points, eight adrift of leaders Highlanders.
Rangers have won only once in 12 starts and currently occupy second place from the bottom with six points.
Rangers’ coach, Misheck Chidzambwa, said they were looking for a positive result against his former team and he will be assisted in plotting the downfall by another

Dynamos son Masimba Dinyero.
“We face a big challenge against Dynamos but we have to stand our own ground because we play in the same league. We need the points just as they do.
“We have been playing some good football but our biggest enemy is lack of self-belief. We are trying to psyche up the players so that they have confidence in their abilities,” said Chidzambwa.

Harare City will take their good form to Zvishavane where they date Luke Masomere’s Shabanie Mine at Maglas tomorrow.
Bigboy Mawiwi’s men have not looked back since they beat Dynamos 1-0 last month to begin their revival after a poor start in their debut season. They beat Hwange 2-1 on Thursday to rake 10 points from their last four games.

“We are not looking at all that because we are preparing for a new challenge.
“What we should be worried about at the moment is the need to be consistent because Shabanie are tough opponents.
“They are playing well and they do not have any pressure at all,” said Mawiwi.

Police outfit Black Mambas will be at home hoping to continue on their revival path when they entertain whipping boys Quelaton in a battle of lightweights at Rufaro this afternoon.
Despite sitting third from the bottom, the Mambas camp is currently in high spirits following the 1-1 draw against CAPS United during the midweek, which was

preceded by a victory over Gunners.
