HIGHLANDERS have made their intentions clear about revival after signing lanky 19-year-old Nigerian Benjamin Olawarithim this week.

Details are still scant about the nature of the contract.

He is arriving from Gwanda Pirates, who play in the Zifa Central Region League.

Pirates are keen on good relations with Bossp as they share supporters and colours.

Gwanda sources on Thursday confirmed the move.

When contacted for comment on Saturday morning, Highlanders acting chief executive officer Kindman Ndlovu said: “We have been in talks with some football clubs over players that we feel can add some value to our squad and help us improve our team’s results. Several players have undergone technical and medical evaluations with the club, both within the country and abroad.

“The club will share more information on player movements during this transfer window once all formalities between us and the various clubs have been finalised.”

The Nigerian is expected to help Bosso score goals as the strikers have for months been firing blanks.
