DIANAROSE Banda’s brace propelled Highlanders Royals to a 5-0 thumping win over Ubuntu in a Thembalethu Foundation Southern Region Women’s Soccer League match at the clubhouse on Saturday.

A goal apiece by Sandra Majika, Nonhlanhla Pfumapano and Sheron Musakwa completed the rout.

Ubuntu languish at the bottom of the log, having lost all their four matches in the league.

Magwegwe Stars consolidated their position at the top of the league table with 13 points after thrashing Bulawayo Polytechnic 5-1. The log leaders have been in impressive form since the beginning of the season, winning four times and drawing once.

Inline Academy moved into second place after dismissing Street Set 3-0 at the Nkulumane Library ground, while police side Black Boots were too good for Sobukhazi, whom they dispatched 4-0 at Fairbridge Primary School.
