Bosso to spread wings

AS the countrya��s oldest football outfit, Highlanders is in the process of celebrating its 90 years of existence, the club has considered being part of all sporting disciplines that are played in the country.

In the past years, the club embraced darts and they have continuously taken part in darts competitions in the city.

As if this is not enough, last week Amahlolanyama club officially launched their netball team.

a�?We are looking at all possible sporting ventures that we can get involved in and we actually engaging the tag of war officials so that we can also take part in the event especially during the trade fair,a�? said Highlanders chief executive officer Ndumiso Gumede.

a�?Highlanders is still playing in the darts league but lately, our fortunes have not been good,a�? said Gumede.

The club recently took another positive step by re-launching their once defunct netball team by holding a five team tournament where they came second.

The black and white camp also revived their football womena��s side named Highlanders Royals.
