Botswana commends Zim’s commitment in strengthening ties

Speaking after a tour of the Zimbabwe Prison Services facilities recently, Comm Motlalekgosi said the desire between the two countries to engage in bilateral issues on the administration of prisons was laudable.

“Both governments have been commendable in their facilitation of several platforms where we come together and engage on bilateral issues effectively and efficiently administering our prison services, all in pursuit of excellent service delivery which is highly expected of us,” he said.

He said the visit to Zimbabwe was part of efforts to strengthen the two countries ties.
The two countries recently signed the Zimbabwe-Botswana Joint Commission on Defence and Security.
