Bowls inter-regional tournament dates set

countries expected to confirm their participation.
Last year the tournament was dominated by the Kenyans.
The bowls’ season began this weekend with the CABS pairs whose finals will be held at Avondale Bowling Club this Sunday. Soon the bowlers will plunge into the inter-club championships later in the coming month. The fours tournament will be held in the capital starting on March 11, with the second round set for March 18 and the finals set for March 25.
During the Easter holidays, the bowlers will travel to Bulawayo for the Nationals. The Gweru pairs, where all provinces are expected to send in their representatives, will follow. The biggest local event is set for June 23 and 24 with the staging of the MEBA Champion of Champions tourney.
