ELEVEN-YEAR-OLD singer, Letheng Chikozho, has saluted his father for supporting him in his bid to pursue music.

Chokozho has recorded his debut Extended Play (EP) set for release next month.

Titled Zvinoziikanwa Nevazhinji, the EP carries tracks like Havagone Kunyarara, Hazvinei na Rona, among others, was produced by Steezy Beatz.

Speaking to H Metro, the Herbert Chitepo Primary School student said:

“My father has been my pillar in my music and my life.

“He helps me balance out my school work and music schedule and that is why I have managed to record music.

“I usually do my recordings during the weekends or holidays so that I also get time to focus on my school work. I will be releasing my EP in August when it’s school holidays.”

His father, Takesure Chikozho, added:

“I am happy because Letheng has been a good child.

“He showed a lot of interest in music that’s why I felt obliged as parent to help him fulfil his desire.

“We guide him and also make sure we also try and help him fulfil his desires.”

The promising young talent has recorded other songs like Moyo Wangu and Mukuru Wangu.
